Raise Your Vibes in November 2015

Welcome beautiful beings,

There is so much going on energetically right now that I had to write about it!  I have had so many people ask me the same question lately, that I decided the best way to get the answer out, is to write a blog.  The question at its core is, "Why am I feeling so heavy and anxious right now, and when will it stop?"  To answer this question in its entirety, I have to explain some key things.  We are all going through a big energy shift right now.  The Earth, and the people living on it are being called to "wake up", and become more conscious in their lives. As we go through this process, we are feeling heavy, tired, and a bit down honestly.  It's nothing to get worked up about.  It's actually a good thing.  We are all becoming more aware as individuals.  This is not some super woo-woo, spiritual stuff.  If you look at this idea through a cultural lens, it's easy to see that now more than ever, we have access to things that are raising our awareness, like self help books, pod casts, audio books, and positive quotes on instagram and facebook.  Access to this information is all working to raise our self awareness.  By understanding this cultural shift, it seems natural that a  significant portion of people are becoming more enlightened, self aware, and thus more sensitive.  We are actually "waking up"!

The difficulty with waking up, is that there is a lot going on in the world right now.  As we become more aware, we start to realize there there are a lot of things going on in the world that are disheartening, and even scary.  We become more sensitive to all things when we increase our awareness, and that includes negativity.  It can be similar to watching the tv, while you are totally tuned out and in your head.  You are sitting on the couch, thinking about the laundry list of things you have to do the following day.  It's not until you "wake up", and pay attention, that you realize the volume is set almost at its maximum, and some violent thing is playing on the screen.  The feeling of becoming more self aware in this world feels a lot like this.  The volume is turned up way too high, the screen is in HD, and there content playing is way too violent.

So in order to help with this process, we really need to be gentler with ourselves in all ways.  Extreme self-care comes into play here.  I like to look at week increments and add to my week anything that I need to feel totally nurtured and good.  This includes fresh, organic foods and juices, high quality water, rest, yoga, exercise, and me time.  However, everyone's list is different.  If you are becoming stressed just reading this list, it is a sign that something more structural and fundamental needs to shift in your life, as your sensitivity increases.  It would make sense that as we become more aware and sensitive, our old ways of being would have to change.  For me, it meant I had to see fewer clients during my week.  Although, I love my job, feel totally at peace in my office, and love my clients, my whole being was telling me that I had to set some tough boundaries around how much I was working.  This message came to me in September, and now in November I understand its importance and meaning much more.

As we are shifting, our lives have to shift accordingly.  We cannot run at the same pace we have been running.  We cannot and should not juggle and multitask the same way we have been doing.  We have to stop taking responsibility for other people's lives, and focus on quieting our own.  Once you wake up and realize what's playing on your television screen in your life, you may find that you have to turn down the volume and change the channel.  Be gentle with yourself during this process.  Do not judge yourself.  Make changes slowly.  Back off of projects at work.  Set a few appointments for yourself through your week to exercise or rest, or nurture yourself in other ways.  If you break those appointments, again be gentle with yourself and set more.  This is the most important work we can do and focus on during this shift.  This is the work to make your life more peaceful and blissful.  It's uncomfortable for sure, but it's totally worth it.

We are being asked to do this important work, so we can be the love and the light in the world right now.  Right now, we need you!  We need you to feel good, to be rested and healthy, so you can radiate your love for all the world to feel.  You are truly living your highest and best life, when you are in this space.  So please be gentle with yourself, and set the intention to start to create a life that is gentler and kinder to you.  Turn off the fear based, sensationalist news, walk away from negative and fear based conversations and relationships, and look for the good happening around you.
